The mouse click speed test is the original. Every click-speed community, from Minecraft PvP to aim trainers, measures itself against the left button, and this tester keeps that classic interface while adding the extras: right-button support, all durations from 1s to 100s, and technique metrics.

Mouse speed is hardware-influenced in ways keyboard speed is not. Button travel, switch weight and surface texture all shape your number — which is why comparing your mouse cps test score against your spacebar score tells you exactly how much of your output is you, and how much is the mouse.
