What is Kohi Clicking?

Kohi clicking is plain, fast, one-finger clicking at 8–12 clicks per second with rock-solid consistency.

Measured
Interval CV — the coefficient of variation of the gaps between your clicks. Below ~25% means machine-like consistency; above ~45% means an irregular rhythm.

Origin & gameplay use

The name comes from the Kohi server, which popularized sprint-clicking with one finger for Minecraft PvP.

Health & safety

Kohi is the gentlest of advanced techniques, but take breaks to avoid index finger fatigue.

Quick answer

Kohi clicking is fast, one-finger clicking on the left mouse button, named after the Kohi PvP practice server that popularized it in the early 2010s. Practiced players hold 8–12 CPS with a steady rhythm.

Why click speed matters in Minecraft

In Minecraft PvP, clicking speed directly affects how many hits you land in a trade and how much knockback you deal. Every extra click per second is an extra chance to hit the enemy before their combo lands.

The Hypixel ~13 CPS cap

Hypixel limits the click speed that actually counts in PvP. Clicks beyond roughly 13 CPS do not register extra hits, making consistency the real differentiator.

Comparison

Kohi vs Jitter vs Butterfly vs Drag

The four techniques trade speed against strain, consistency and mouse requirements. Kohi is the reliable baseline, jitter adds raw speed at the cost of arm fatigue, butterfly doubles output with two fingers, and drag clicking is the ceiling — if your mouse cooperates.

Metric Kohi Jitter Butterfly Drag
Typical CPS 8–12 9–14 10–16 20–40
Hand usage One finger Whole forearm Two fingers One fingertip + friction
Difficulty Easy to learn Hard to sustain Moderate Mouse-dependent
Body strain Low Highest — arm tension Low — load split Skin abrasion risk
Mouse needed Any Any Any (wide buttons help) Textured buttons / grip tape
Minecraft use Daily PvP baseline Duels & potions W-tap & combos God-bridging & speed bridging
Server legality Allowed Usually allowed Debated Often restricted
Consistency High Medium — fatigue sets in High Low — surface-dependent

Figures are community-observed averages for practiced players, not guarantees — individual results vary with mouse, hand and practice time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Kohi clicking?

Kohi clicking is plain, fast, one-finger clicking — no mouse tricks, just a steady finger reaching 8–12 clicks per second. It’s named after the Kohi PvP practice server that popularized it.

What is Interval CV in the Kohi test?

Interval CV (coefficient of variation) measures how uniform the gaps between your clicks are. Below ~25% means machine-like, consistent rhythm; above ~45% means irregular pacing.
